Shining islands in a turbulent sea. Soft white stucco effect paste on canvas. The cloudy open areas were formed by pressing a sponge with large pores into the still soft paste. Watercolor paint was used afterwards and removed from embossed positions. Finally, the paerl effect pastes were worked into the previously created empty areas.
