Leaf impressions surrounded by shimmering blue. Blue metallic effect paste on canvas backround, primed with white watercolor paint. Templates with leaf shape made from cardboard were painted in dark watecolor paint and pressed onto the metallic surface. Covering of leaf structures with white watercolor paint. The smoothing of the surface provided by the watercolor paint, enhances the brilliance of the metallic paste, which, in return, reduces the amount of paste necessary for generating an impressive metallic effect.
